An updated look for the site of Galway film company, Fake Dog Films, which was previously designed by Syncostyle also.
The Design
The redesign focused on streamlining the site to remove older parts that were no longer used. This included the shutting down of the message board, which had previously been heavily integrated in the site.
How it was done
The old message board was removed for an increased emphasis on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. The site is now less cluttered, with more of an emphasis on the films, with updates from the Fake Dog Films Twitter page also on the site.
Other existing functionality such as the blog and photo gallery were kept and integrated with the new design.
About the site
A wide variety of web technologies were used in the making of this site, including HTML, CSS, PHP and JQuery. JQuery was used for animations and for quick loading on the films page. All code is valid and has been tested on the most popular browsers.
