An updated look for the site of Galway film company, Fake Dog Films, which was previously designed by Syncostyle also.
The Design
The redesign focused one fitting more content into the pages of the site and making it feel like a site with interconnected pages rather than unrelated ones.
How it was done
The old message board was heavily integrated into the new site, fitting seamlessly into the design. Message board accounts were used to give site-wide user interactivity, with users kept up-to-date right from the front page.
A new photo gallery was set up to allow for more user interactivity as well as being easier to use for the client. The existing news and blog software was adapted to fit in with the new design.
About the site
A wide variety of web technologies were used in the making of this site, including HTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript. The scriptaculous framework was used for animations on the front-page newsbox and scrolling on the films page. All code is valid and has been tested on the most popular browsers.
